Its been awhile ... I hope that I can get it started again soon.

Going so fast ...

These months have been flying by.. the babies are already 6 months & getting so big. They still amaze me ... I know I say it often. But they truly truly do. Ryan is just as amazing... he is so smart and fearless .. and well that just scares me. I am so very blessed with a beautiful family .. amazing kids and an awsome husband.

We have been staying pretty busy ... I have been able to have a few girls nights here latley .. just drinks and dinner... but hey thats all I need to get my mind out of full blown mommy mode for a little while. We enjoyed a day out on my brother inlaws boat... It was so nice and so relaxing.. the babies stayed with my mother in law and Ryan went and enjoyed the boat ride. He LOVED being thrown in the air & jumping from the boat.

Tim is no longer coaching Baseball.. he is now playing in a mens leauge. I hate to say that we have not been able to go to a game .. the heat has been HORRIBLE !! I am looking for my outlet ... Im thinking of joining fitness bootcamp for a month. I thought about this right before I found out I was pregnant with the twins. I am thinking when it gets a little cooler .. or mid sept. Everything is going great & i will be posting house pictures soon .. now i know I keep saying this .. but really I will !

Good Times !

Our trip last week was Great !!

Tuesday afternoon ... The kids & I explored the hotel & grounds a bit , swam for about an hour then went to dinner at Joes Crab Shack then back to the hotel to play on the play sets a bit. Dinner with me & just the 3 kids was a little diffrent. I had my hands full .. but Presley slept ... Milo just ate his hand & Ryan played on the playground the whole time .. so I stared at the beach !

Our Room had a view of Schlitterbaun Water park .. this is on our list of to do's .. but Ill need to fins a sitter for the babies then we can attempt it. Ryan was fascinated by this so he stared out the window for hours !

Wen- We got up & had a chance to have breakfast with Tim ... it was a breakfast buffet at the hotel and it was GREAT ... kids ate free & they had a great kid friendly atmosphere... they had a bounce house near the pool & gave back packs filled with with fun toys to all the kids that checked in. But after breakfast we ran up stairs to get our swim suits on and walked across the parking lot to Moody Gardens Palm Beach. It was really nice it was water filled pools with sandy beaches and lots of palm trees and a few slides and such (we didnt make it to the slide area). We had some friends come out to visit us & hang out at the beach with us. It was lots of fun ... went to the room for lunch then rested a bit before dinner. We got to have dinner with Tim that night ... we headed out to the Rain Forest cafe... it was awsome. If you have never heard of this look it up it is so neat. Ever half hour the cafe has a thunderstorm ... it got dark had flashing lights and thunder. Ryan was not to into the thunderstorms at first .. but then he kept asking for them to happen.

Thur- We had a LONG LONG day on thursday ... woke up had a quick breakfast in the room & got dressed to head out to the attractions. We started off at the Rainforest Pyramind .. it was very neat with lots of exotic plants, birds and a few fish. Headed to the Dino Alive ... it was an exhibit of Dinosuars that moved and screeched. Ryan LOVED it, they were huge and very well put together it made it seem so real. Then off to the bone exhibit... just a lot of bones to look at and learn about. It was great for Ryan to see just what a Bone is since he always tells me his bones hurt !!! For lunch we went and met my friend Roshelle .. a cozy little cafe and great food. Then back to the attractions... we went to the paddle boat ride. It was just a huge old boat that we rode for an hour .. both Ryan and I were bored out of our minds ! Back at Moody Gardens we headed to the Aquarium pyramid. This was AWSOME ... the seals were just so neat to watch but above all was the penguins. WOW ... we could have stayed there all day. After this tiring day we went back to the room rested then headed down to the hotel for some dinner... Ryan jumped in the bounce house for an hour. Then back to the room for a good nights rest.

Fri- We woke up and headed out to the sea wall grabbed a quick breakfast at Sonic then headed to the Flight Museum ... My camera died so I couldnt get nay pictures.

But we seen a 1940 continental airplane .. it was awsome and manny many fighter planes that were used against the Germans. Ryan & I really enjoyed it. We met back up with Tim and all had lunch with my friend Roshelle again. Where we sat on the deck of a very neat reasturant watched the waves come in .. talked History of Galveston and the plans to rebuild. Then headed home ... it was a busy little trip. Ryan and Tim still wanted more so the headed off to fish while the babies & I had dinner with some Gal Pals.

I can not wait to have the opportunity to do this again. Or any trip.. it is very hard to be having so much fun & Tim not being able to be there .. but he has to work & we are just lucky that he can work in neat places like that. Now we are getting prepared for our tip to Oklahoma to see my mom over the 4th of July weekend. Maybe a few more mini get aways before the end of summer.

We are headed to galveston tommorrow after noon. Tim has a convention and the kids & I will be hanging out down there. We are staying at http://www.moodygardens.com/ it is a very neat concept . Now I have never been there so I am very excited. We have alot planned. Tim will be busy so it will be mainly just me & the kiddos hanging out doing stuff. One of my best friends works public relations for galveston island.. so hopefully I can meet up with her for lunch one day. This will be a much needed mini vacation. AND IM THINKING OF LEAVING THE COMPUTER BEHIND ... that will be along time for me to go with out a computer ... but i feel like it will be a good thing ... tuesday - friday and no computer. just me .. my kids .. a book and some hotel cable tv !! I think im going to do it :) & i bet i will enhoy it :) !!!!!

Its been awhile ......

So I have so much to catch up on.. but Ill just recap ... and TONS of pictures to upload...

We have been staying very busy .. with the kids... the house .. friends.. family .. and life in general.

Rodriguez house - Its going good... already have done so much work & still so much to do .. I have to get decoration on the walls.. order new window coverings and paint the kitchen & my bathroom. And the yard ... well it needs SO much work. It will all happen with time. But we love it .. love the space and the yard, we have so many plans for this house. But in a few years I will be ready to make that upgrade to a bigger home & will hopefully know where we are ready to settle down for the long run.

Tim- He is still loving his job , coaching a summer leauge baseball team ... staying busy with the house and sticking to that Dave ramsey budget (blahh). And he is wrapped around Presleys little finger.

Brandi- I have a new addiction .. making bows I LOVE it ! Getting the hang of being a mommy of 3 , I am doing dang good at it. Getting back into working out .. feels so good.

Ryan- just done with t-ball , keeping mommy on her toes.. he is so funny & is a GREAT big brother.

Presley- she is so pretty and happy she loves to smile .. just started rolling over. Loves her bows mommy makes her. I think she is deff our high maintance child already.

Michael- happy .. chunky .. loves to put his fingers in his mouth , he wont roll over yet .. he does not like tummy time.

blog problem ...

It just now let me sign on for the first time in about a week... I was slacking then decided to update but it just wasnt letting me on. I have so much to blog about ... when I get the kids down for nap we will play catch up !

About to get crafty !

So the day I found out I was having a girl I ran home and watched youtube videos on how to make bows. I havent done it yet I just feel like I have no room in this apartment to do them. But I am set on making her an easter bow... Over the top and to big for her head :) OHHH and i will be making a tutu .. Im very excited about this.

Also my kid are stuck on using the SUPER UGLY soothie paci's. And No normal looking pacafire clip will work so I will make my own. Michael is CONSTANTLY knocking that thing out of his mouth and it flys across the room and due to it being rubber it bounces 5 feet and takes FOREVER to find. So that is also my mission to fix this problem.

Wow I have lots to catch up on, lets see .....

Ryan - He started T-ball .. its a little chaotic... come on 3 year olds trying to stand still & wait for their turn ! My baby can hit the ball like he is already Pro status, When we practice with him on our own time he refuses to hit off the T. So I pitch to him ... he is awsome , keeps his eye on the ball and swings away.. the ball goes a pretty good distance. When it almost hit me in the face thats when I knew ... Ok Id rather be the cheerleader !! He likes going to mothers day out ... the kids there are not what he is used to thats for sure. Little rug rats.. next year we will be looking for another mothes day out. No games yet .. we will not be here for his first day of games (they play 2 the first day) I will be at a wedding that I am in. He will be with my grandma and she is super excited to take him to his games im just sad we cant be there.


Presley- at her 2 month check up she was 8lbs 13oz :) my little momma is growing so well !! She got her 1st set of shots although she was not as sick as Ryan gets with his , she still got a little sick. She also at her 2 month check up got her pretty little ears pireced. Little gold studs... im not a yellow gold fan AT ALL . But it looks sooooo great with her dark hair so I went ahead and chose yellow.. im just to pale for it I think. Presley is smiling now... she loves to smile at Ryan you touch her nose and she smiles alot and its so stinkin cute !!


Michael- at his 2 month check up he was 10 pounds exactly. He is such a chunk I love it ! he took his shots like a champ. He is for sure the baby ... he loves being held all the time and is pretty whiney. He is a pretty serious little guy ... I got a small smile out of him this morning its his 1st one. Michael loves to lay on our chest and hold his head up and look around. The fan captures his attention .. he LOVES that thing.


Tim- Still loving his job, traveling more frequently and on tuesday, thursdays I hardly see him he is watching his brother play baseball. he is a little stressed about trying to buy a house .. but hopefully next week we are done with all that mess.

Brandi- Ahhhh loving my family of 5 , thankful for my blessings I have been giving. Still amazed that I made two babies at one time. Soon as I get some more living space Ill be getting crafty I have so many great ideas, I just need to put them in motion. I have been soo busy here latley and its not ending any time soon. This weekend we have a t-ball practice with friends and family ... attempting to get back into going to church ( I couldnt sit there when i was pregnant I was soooooooooooooooooooooo uncomfortable ) and the next week is easter and have a busy easter sunday planned, the next weekend we will be going about 8 hours away for the wedding, brother in law graduates, trip to see my mom.. and just life in general !!

Night out with My boy & My munchkins

I must share my awsome night out. I took Ryan on a date night, We went to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. We went to the carnival.. rode some rides,ate great food, seen some livestock & got our groove on to Pat Green. Tim & I were going to take Ryan to the Rodeo together , but we had no sitter for the twins. So I took him along with one of my friends who also just had a baby and her oldest son Dorian. Well when we got there the kids were totally amazed and ready to ride everything. Ryan was to little for alot of the rides.. but we found a few he could ride. We slid down a HUGE slide that kinda made me panic. And when Ryan rode the roller coaster I was totally fighting back tears. His face will forever be burned into my mind... He was all smiles and LOVED it so much. He was so happy & having a great time on all the rides. But my little man also decided he wanted to RIDE THE MECHANICAL BULL ... even after seeing the guys get thrown off .... He got up there and rode it like a Champ !! They moved it very slow side to side ... but to him & me he was doing GREAT !!! What a great memory that made. We went and ate a GREAT burger and then headed inside to see some animals. We got to pet the huge 300 thousand dollar steer. (yuppp NUTS thats alot for beef ) !!! We did some other animal petting and then headed to the show. We seen Real bull riders and Mutton bustin (little kids riding sheep) Ryan begged me to let him do that... ummm I dont think so !!! And then Pat Green came out ... Ryan danced and sang and had one great time. It was almost 11 before we left and Ryan & Dorian were not ready to go.... serioulsy kids have the most energy ever. We had an awsome Night , next year Ryan will be taller and we will head back and do it all again with more rides and more time for mommy to do some shopping :)

Now to My munchkins ... They are 2 months old today , They are getting SOOOOOOOO big. Presley the little princess is just so adorable, she loves to stretch and look around she is starting to make a little bit of noise. She is very laid back and just so calm most of the time. Michael is our CHUNK .. he loves to eat, loves to be held & to look around. He is spoiled and not very calm unless he is being held. Tuesday is the 2 month check up and shots :( I hope they are not like Ryan in the shot department. Ryan would get very bad fever and just need to be held. It made for the night after the shots to be very rough. It will be very hard with 2 like that. We shall see !! We will also talk about Presley getting her ears pierced ... I dont want her to cry .. but she needs cute lil ears , I dont wnat to do it to late where she will mess with them and infect them. Ill post after the appointment to update with all the stats.

Getting it together

So its been 6 weeks since the babies have joined us. And well things have been running pretty smoothly, But I felt that it was starting to get a little bumpy. So I decided its chart & list time , I needed every thing written down to make sure nothing has been skipped. At night there needs to be many things in order.. bottles , diapers, wipes, and extra clothes near bye. AND COFEE POT TIMER SET !!!! So just to be sure everything is done I made a list & hung it in the laundry room. Also I mad a chore chart .. it keeps me up on what to clean daily to insure everything is cleaned. Im sure Im missing stuff but Ill add to it when it comes to me.

Wow

I think everything is catching up to me. Im pretty worn out. And today I planned on taking a nap, I hardly ever take naps. They make my head hurt and put me in a very bad mood. I would think that it would be just the opposite. I thought I was such an weirdo for that. Turns out my mom & grandm are the same way, But I tell ya today feels like a nap day. I have lots to do so it proably wont happen ... so ill try and get in bed earlier tonight.

Its blogging time :)

Lets see .... Tims knee is feeling much better YEAAA !! And we have been pretty busy here latley running around doing stuff .. this month is busy for me. A wedding shower and bach (id finish this word ... but I cant spell it)/lingere shower. Getting ready for the wedding next month .. need to schedule to get my hair re-done try to repair a horrible dye job that was done in october. I havent had time or been able to go .. i am sooooooo ready to get this hair looking good again. Off and on are back in the house market (IT DRIVES ME NUTS) I think that I am about to just give up my rights on house hunting. Tim and I have 2 diffrent ideas on what our house should be, and it gives me a headache.... and anything is better than an apartment. I cant stand it. I feel so confined.

The babies are getting SO big and they are still as BEAUTIFUL as they can be. We are so very blessed to have them. I am in awe of them everyday, I realize that my life will never ever be simple ... I will be late for everything , I will always be behind on laundry no matter how many loads I do a day. December - January we will be broke .. all three kids are Jan babies & of course Christmas. I love all 3 of my kiddos and feel just so blessed.

BABIES BABIES EVERY WHERE ... Not only has Presley & Michael graced us with their presence but we have Miss Maddie she was born in Jan a few days before the twins. She is some friends of ours that live in Corpus Christi, And William Wesley was born today... Now all babies are blessings, But I think William is a true blessing for Joan & Wes and we could not be more happier for them. And Eaden is coming soon. Our friends mireya & bobby are expecting # 2 and he will be here anyday. Im lovin it and cant wait for all these babies to get together ... however Tim , Bobby & Wes have been friends for years, I know that as boys they got into many things .. and all three having boys at the same time might just spell TROUBLE.

Knee Watch ....

So we went to the knee specialist. He said that it seems to be broken cartlidge, its moving around making it impossible for the knee to bend. He is on medications and the dr. hopes that the meds will move the broken cartlidge and if its not better by monday he will have a MRI at 9 on tuesday. Im praying that it clears up , even though he said there is a HUGE chance that it will happen again with out re moving that cartlidge. Surgery may be in his future but HOPEFULLY not !

New day new adventure...

We went back to the Dr. and it looks like there is no infection. But the Dr. wanted to send Tim to an arthritis Dr. Tim called his old Dr that did the surgeries on his knee years ago and they have an opening tom. at 2. Hopefully they have a good awnser and its an easy fix.

Ryan went to school today .. he loved it. I walk in the room to find him asleep on his mat. And I am amazed ! He told us all about school and his teacher telling him NO.. becuase he didnt want to lay down. He said he laid down and he was ok after that. HA funny kid !

I may have broken my husband ....

OHHHH MAN !!! So friday morning Tim wakes with a very sore kneee... I think OK he is just making me do everything as payback for my months of bedrest. Well he asks me for some kind of pain meds.. he says he does not care what but he needs somthing. Thats when I know ok he is in LOTS of pain to ask for meds. Tim NEVER .. I mean NEVER EVER takes pain meds unless he is like extremly sick. He says when he is old and in pain he wants them to work, so his theroy is dont become immune to them now. Well as the weekend goes on his knee gets more and more painful. He cant bend it.. it hurts him to roll in any direction in bed. So today we head out to the Dr. they send him for an X-Ray ... well it looks ok But he knows that it isnt the bone its the tissues and such around the knee. Tim has had 2 previous knee surgeries but on his other knee. So tom we may get sent for an MRI.. he gets his blood work back in the morning also. Hopefully there is no infection present. Now why I say I may have broken him ... saturday Tim was saying he cant understand why his knee hurts so bad... (at this time I wasnt sure just how much pain he was in).. well he goes on to ask if I kicked him in the middle of the night. I do kick him often to wake him ... ok more like nudge him with my foot. If I need bottles or help with babies. Ill admit it YES I KICKED HIM .. OK but I really dont think that I can hurt him that bad while laying in bed. I feel bad, he isnt giving me to hard of a time about it. Lets hope that nothing to major is going on & ill update more on the knee saga tommorrow !

3..6..9..

12 ... in the am , I am a machine. I move and work mindlessly, half asleep yet productive. I say its survival mode. There is no room for mistakes. My screaming babies make sure they eat at those times. Its my job am & pm to get these babies fed and changed and loved on. And let me say I have a great support system who will gladly help out. I however like to try things on my own or with the help of Tim.. I know .. Its nuts I guess im trying to be super parent, now if I can be super parent and super wife/ housekeeper that would be great. Proably wont happen :)

I am amused when i run into some one and they say WOW , I couldnt handle twins.. or glad its you and not me. Well well ... I just laugh I proably thought the same thing 10 months ago. But I guess god gave me these perfect babies becuase he saw that I could handle the challenge. I know im blessed and gladly except all the work that comes with it.

Ryan starts mothers day out tuesday ... its only for a few months since he is coming in at the end of school. But he and I are super excited. He wanted to stay today. I have heard how hard it will be trying to get him to and from school with the babies. But I feel its somthing he needs to get done , he will love it. And this is my new life a mother of 3 so Ill have to get use to it. He can no longer be put to the side becuase mommy is on bed rest. I feel horrible he cant go outside during the day becuase of apartment life and it being to cold for his brother and sister. Its time for him to get back into doing things and we are SUPER EXCITED FOR T-BALL TO START !!! This family of five thing will work out in time and will get easier
